Prox is a fast-growing startup helping families save money on groceries by comparing prices across retailers. Our content brand, @aisle.survival.guide, breaks down weekly deals, retail trends, and money-saving hacks across TikTok, Instagram, and Threads to build a following of savvy shoppers. We’re scaling rapidly and looking for a creative, strategic, and organized Social Media Marketing Intern to lead our content engine.

What You’ll Do

As our Social Media Marketing Manager Intern, you’ll work directly with the founder and a team of content creators to manage, grow, and evolve our social presence:

✅ Plan, Schedule & Optimize Content

📲Own the posting calendar across TikTok, Instagram, Threads, X, Threads, Facebook, and Reddit
🎥 Support production, editing, and daily posting of short-form videos
🤳Coordinate with interns and creative partners to keep content moving
📊 Contribute to idea generation and content testing to improve performance over time
🔍 Monitor trends and performance, identifying opportunities to test new formats, hooks, and growth tactics
🗺 Support cross-functional growth initiatives, including brand partnerships, viral recipe scouting, and special campaigns

Structure & Growth Path

This is a full-time contract role, that will be reviewed in 10-weeks (40+ hours per week) designed for high ownership and fast growth. Here’s what you can expect:

💼 The internship is unpaid, but includes the potential for compensation based on performance
📈 Strong performers will be considered for a paid, full-time role at the end of the internship
🔁 You’ll have direct visibility into how performance is tracked and used to inform promotion decisions
