POSITION SUMMARY

Are you an experienced marketing professional with a passion for working with public sector clients? The Senior Manager of Government Marketing plays a vital role in developing and executing innovative marketing strategies designed to maximize client revenue and outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to influence awareness, demand generation, and client engagement within the government sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

B2G Marketing Strategy and Leadership

Deliver strategic insights and actionable recommendations backed by data.
Gain in-depth knowledge of client offerings and public sector audience segments.
Stay informed about relevant developments in the B2G landscape to support networking and educational initiatives.
Utilize AI tools and resources to enhance research and marketing strategies.
Commit to ongoing learning about B2G marketing trends and share innovative practices.
Facilitate brainstorming sessions to inspire impactful campaign execution.

Campaign & Event Execution

Create and manage tailored marketing campaigns aligned with client objectives.
Plan and execute marketing events that drive client success.
Serve as the go-to B2G marketing expert on cross-functional projects.

Short Form Content Development

Keep up with emerging trends in B2B/B2G and AI for digital content creation across platforms like email, blogs, and social media. Employ AI and best practices to develop high-quality short-form content supporting marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand standards.

Performance Measurement & Reporting

Evaluate campaign performance and report on ROI.
Prepare quarterly summaries to highlight successes and pinpoint areas for growth.
Maintain accurate project briefs to ensure alignment from kickoff to execution.

Client & Internal Collaboration

Build strong relationships with clients, aligning marketing strategies with their goals.
Participate in onsite visits and meetings to enhance client engagement.
Contribute as a trainer in client workshops as needed.
Collaborate with the GBR team on both internal and external projects to guarantee marketing success.
Provide detailed project briefs to streamline execution and enhance quality.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

10+ years of experience in marketing technology products or services across various organizations.

A minimum of 5 years in field marketing related to government, education, healthcare, or regulated industries.

Proven track record in field marketing, channel marketing, and campaign development.

Ability to thrive independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Proficiency in common workplace technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and generative AI platforms. Familiarity with project management systems like Wrike, Asana, monday.com, or Jira is advantageous.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & EQUIPMENT

Remote work setup with a distraction-free home office, including a desk and high-speed internet.
Employer provides equipment: laptop, hub, video camera, keyboard, mouse, and dual monitors.
Some overnight travel to client sites will be required to establish and maintain relationships.

PHYSICAL & VISION REQUIREMENTS

Primarily seated work, with some speaking and typing activities.
Requires close and color vision, with the ability to adjust focus for digital content.
Company policy mandates being on camera for virtual meetings and calls.

SUPERVISION & REPORTING

This position does not have direct reports.
Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
