MARKETING AUTOMATION SPECIALIST

Access Intelligence, a leading media and events company, is searching for a dynamic and collaborative Marketing Automation Specialist to join the Marketing Operations team.

The Marketing Automation Specialist works closely with our internal marketing teams, utilizing a variety of tools to implement and maintain marketing automation systems including email, website pop-ups, forms, and website meters. Additionally, they will work to provide internal clients with best practice marketing recommendations when necessary and marketing systems assistance and training as required. A key focus of the job is being “liaison” between our Customer Data Platform/Email Service Provider (ESP)—Omeda—and other marketing and data management systems as needed. This marketing support position requires the ability to interact with a diverse group of internal marketing professionals, providing them with timely assistance as needed.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Build, optimize, maintain, and report on key components of automated marketing and subscription programs, including email campaigns (such as abandoned cart flows, nurture series, trigger emails, and other behavior-triggered campaigns), and sign up forms, preference pages, promo codes, and website meters.
Implement and collaborate on company-wide initiatives such as programs relating to privacy law, email preference centers, data normalization programs, bounce handling programs, website/trigger programs, subscription flow improvements, etc.
Coordinate with multiple vendors to resolve system issues, integrate tracking scripts, confirm API behavior, and ensure reliable performance across connected systems.
Monitor and maintain data integrity by validating subscription levels, demographic fields, field mapping, and form logic, proactively identifying and correcting issues before campaigns launch.
Support brand renewals, promo code setup and testing, and rebranding efforts across forms, automations, templates, and email assets.
Conduct detailed quality assurance testing across all forms, landing pages, promo codes, automations, and data flows to ensure accurate performance before deployment.
Serve as first-line troubleshooting support and vendor liaison for form errors, automation bugs, tracking issues, branding inconsistencies, and third-party integration problems.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience working with a variety of marketing systems and platforms
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work efficiently, collaboratively and professionally with a wide variety of personalities
Strong organizational skills coupled with excellent follow-up practices
Advanced knowledge of M/S Excel and Word and the ability to learn new software applications and products quickly
Excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to prioritize and manage time across multiple concurrent projects
Keen eye for detail and quality assurance
Bachelor’s degree
