Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Director of Marketing Communications. The position involves overseeing the development and execution of marketing communication strategies to raise awareness and support for the organization's mission. Responsibilities include managing communication campaigns, fostering strategic partnerships, overseeing public relations efforts, and leading the marketing team toward achieving organizational goals. The role requires strong leadership and an ability to craft impactful messaging across multiple platforms. The director collaborates cross-functionally and serves as a key advisor to the executive director on strategic initiatives, reputation management, and donor relations.

Qualifications

Expertise in Communication, Marketing Communications, and Marketing
Strong background in Strategic Communications and Public Relations
Proven leadership experience in managing teams and developing communication strategies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Knowledge of non-profit fundraising and experience in a similar cause-driven organization is a plus
Knowledge of optical industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field preferred
