Role Description

Closr is looking for an eager and creative Marketing & Public Relations intern to join our team in New York to help us enhance our brand's digital footprint and build our community. As the Marketing Intern, you will be working closely with the company's leadership team on campaign development, social media management, influencer outreach, media monitoring and research. You will also work hand-in-hand with our designers to develop and execute social strategies, as we tell their stories and launch them on Closr. This involves promoting their products across all social channels as well as the Closr website.

Qualifications

Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
Must be exceptional with Instagram + TikTok content creation
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
An interest in community management + engagement in line with the brand's values
Passionate about sustainability within fashion and a strong interest in emerging designers
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere/After Effects)
Ability to create graphics for social media and website assets.
Help develop strategies for capturing target audience and current customer engagement.
Assist with social media analytics and reporting.
Advanced knowledge of popular social media trends from a brand perspective.

Key Responsibilities

Build strong community engagement on a daily basis with emerging designer accounts and the fashion community
Build out and manage social content calendar for social platforms
Create written, graphic, and video content-based posts for Closr’s Instagram and TikTok social media profiles.
Daily social media posting and community management
Build presence on new and developing social media platforms
Assist with marketing plans for products and designer drops
Track growth across social platforms using marketing analytics tools and provide recommendations based on results
Working with Closr team to craft curated events across New York City to spotlight global emerging designers.
