Head of Marketing Operations

Position Overview

Independent Home Health is seeking a results-driven Head of Marketing to lead and oversee our existing marketing team and drive the company's referral growth.

This position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities and performance of the marketing team while also developing relationships with referral sources and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee, manage, and motivate the existing marketing team.
• Set clear goals, expectations, territories, and performance standards for marketers.
• Monitor marketing activity, referrals, leads, and overall team performance.
• Train, coach, and develop marketing staff.
• Hold team members accountable for meeting performance expectations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, case managers, social workers, and other referral sources.
• Identify and develop new referral and business opportunities.
• Develop strategies to increase referrals, admissions, and company growth.
• Personally maintain relationships with key referral partners and represent Independent Home Health in the community.
• Conduct regular team meetings and report marketing performance and opportunities to ownership.
• Work closely with leadership and operations to ensure marketing efforts support company goals.
• Help recruit and onboard additional marketing staff as the department grows.

Commission Structure

This position includes a commission and performance-based incentive structure based on individual and/or overall marketing department performance.

Specific commission terms and performance targets will be established separately by company management.

Qualifications

• Marketing, sales, business development, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Home health, home care, hospice, or senior-care experience strongly preferred.
• Previous management or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Results-oriented with excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Professional, motivated, and comfortable working in the community.

Success in This Role

The Head of Marketing will be responsible for building a high-performing marketing team, strengthening referral relationships, generating new business, increasing referrals and admissions, and contributing to the overall growth of Independent Home Health.

This is a leadership position with direct responsibility for the performance and success of the company's marketing department.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
