About the position

Responsibilities

Assist in developing social media strategy: Meta (Instagram primary, Facebook secondary), X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
Help maintain content calendars for all social platforms, ensuring consistent and timely posting.
Master platform-specific features (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) and build guides to use as an internal resource.
Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to ensure our content remains relevant and trendy.
Assist in monitoring social analytics and provide regular reports on performance, insights, competitive analysis, and recommendations by platform.
Collaborate with the marketing team and creative agency to ensure social media initiatives align with broader marketing campaigns and seasonal/cultural promotions.
Support the creative process in planning, shooting, and editing authentic, mobile-style UGC videos and photography optimized for social platforms (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) that will be captured onsite at QuickChek activation events and locations.
Create quick-paced, engaging content that follows current social media trends and formats.
Help develop platform-specific content strategies that drive engagement.
Assist in developing compelling written content that reflects the brand's unique voice and connects to current and new audiences.
Create visually appealing graphics and designs that maintain brand consistency while capturing attention in feed.
Build a library of content assets that can be leveraged across multiple platforms and campaigns.
Stay ahead of content trends and continuously refresh creative approaches.
Assist in monitoring comments, messages, and mentions across all social platforms in a timely manner.
Escalate customer service inquiries received through social channels, coordinating with the customer service and marketing team as needed.
Identify opportunities to foster and drive an engaged QuickChek social community.
Assist in bringing in-store marketing signage to life with excellence, including proof reading, store profiling, and signage allotment to all QuickChek stores.
Assist in troubleshooting store signage fulfillment and reviewing, approving signage orders.

Requirements

Enrolled in or graduated in fields such as Design, Marketing, Advertising, or related disciplines.
Experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.).
Proficiency in creative design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.
Proficiency with mobile video creation, editing apps, and basic video production.
Understanding of each social platform's unique features, audience behaviors, and best practices.
Passion for content creation and storytelling.
Familiarity with the QuickChek brand.
Ability to analyze performance data and adjust strategies accordingly.
Strong communication skills and ability to represent brands online and onsite.
Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities across various platforms.
